The MediWeb staff is multinational. The team is comprised of people who come from different cultural backgrounds, including Japan, France, the United States, Ukraine, Poland, and other countries. By enjoying the fact that everybody comes from different backgrounds, through good communication, and through trial and error, we carefully nurture what is truly needed both within the team and within society. Another characteristic of MediWeb is its perfect blend of youth and experience. The average age at our company is 35. Our programmers are primarily young people who have been familiar with the Internet from a young age; they write best of class programs as naturally as chatting with friends. On the other hand, the business side of the company is led by a management team with extensive experience in the medical and Internet industries. We also work in close cooperation with a large number of external resources in order to make the most of our combination of youth and experience. This is MediWeb.
For example, take summer time. When a member of the staff suggested, "We could all start working early so we can use our time in the evening more effectively," this policy was adopted (at present, we have introduced a new flexible working hours system). Requests for an area where people could work while standing up were also immediately implemented, and it is now our programmers' favorite spot. Sharing contributes to the space. Even the smallest act of sharing carries significance. Because our diversity is at the core and we are professionals who can respect one another, we can personally promote and create a culture that is even more pleasant and allows people to maximize their potential.
